The bundle, established through a Lean Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve and Control approach, provides a method to perform performance improvement through best practices of team management and catheter selection resulting in better outcomes for patients with vascular access. The format with this presentation will introduce the subject areas and evidence supporting the team bundle and Lean approach while opening up discussion by the audience for questions and comments on each bundle and catheter selection topic area. This dynamic format allows the attendees to gain the information needed to super charge your team and implement significant performance improvement designed to demonstrate value in dollars and cents to the chief executives and administrators in acute care.
